Back behind the lens after 15 years
Something was missing from my life and when I started to brainstorm some fundraising ideas for The Comfort Mummy Foundation , I had a huge ah ha moment
I was asked over the weekend what actually made me go for it , the only reason really was to be able to earn a good living so I can give , give to families going through the unimaginable . The reason why is because I belong to that club , the club no one wants to be in the bereaved parents club .
I can’t even describe what it is like to belong in there , but what I do know is my Sunshine Jacob has left this legacy to help others .
Creativity is healing for some , you hear of art therapy? well , I didn’t realise until recently but thats exactly it for me , so with some encouraging words from my husband and a few friends I had confided in …My Sunshine & Me Photography was launched
So here I find myself in business , building this website single handedly …I told myself I could so I did
It feels right SO right
There are plans for documentary style photography , for travel , for helping as many people as I can along the way, to use photography for their branding , capturing their families on film ..precious precious moments all over the world .
and all of the time knowing My Sunshine Jacob is steering the ship
There is no room for procrastination , its all about going out and doing the do
